Nubra - Pangong -Tsomoriri Jeep Safari
Best Time: June to October
Day 01: LEH – SUMOOR. 120 Kms.
Leave early morning for Khalsar over the Khardongla pass at 18380 Ft. (Highest Motorable Road of the World) Arrive Khalsar which is the second village of Nubra while going from Leh. Further drive to Sumoor village. Post Lunch visit Sumoor Monatery (Samstanling) & panamik Village. O/n Deluxe Camp.
Day 02: SUMOOR – DISKIT – SUMOOR.
Full day excursion to Diskit & Hunder (Last point for the foreigners) Visit the monastery and the town which is the headquarter of Nubra Valley. Drive back to Sumoor for overnight.
Day 03: SUMUR – LEH.
Drive back to Leh. Stopover at village Khardong for one hour hiking around village. Overnight at Leh.
Day 04: LEH – PANGONG LAKE

Post early breakfast drive crossing over the Changla Pass 15000 ft, to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India. Explore the lake area, might catch some rare wildlife. Overnight at the Camp in Muglib.
Day 05: PANGONG – CHUMATHANG.
Post breakfast drive to Chumathang a place known for its hot springs. Lunch at the Hot springs. The hot springs of Chumathang is a protected area and its water is believed to have great medicinal qualities and thus is a pilgrimage for many local ladakhis. O/n Camp at Chumathang.
Day 06: CHUMATHANG – TSOMORIRI LAKE.
Post early breakfast drive to Tso-moriri 4630 mtrs. The drive takes you through some wonderful landscapes of the Rupshu plateau. It’s a fantastic high altitude wilderness drive, with small passes, lakes and valleys full of Himalayan Marmots. Arrive at the remote village of Korzok by afternoon, the only permanent settlement in the Lake area. O/n Camp.
Day 07: TSOMORIRI LAKE – LEH.
Morning drive back to Leh. Arrive and free at leisure.
